About the event
This is a story, and it’s definitely true, of a bad greedy pirate called Old Captain Sue. With an old wooden leg and a hook for a hand, she’d pretty much failed at all that she planned. But one last adventure before she’s too old, there was a rumour abound of some far away gold.
Join author Ian Cartwright for a family-friendly book club, listen to the tale of Old Captain Sue, talk to Ian about what its like to be a REAL LIFE author, and then have a go at a pirate-themed craft activity!
Suitable for ages 4-8! (But all ages welcome!)
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the event.
