Celebrate the power of poetry with us at Press Books & Coffee as local poet Ian Ward launches his latest anthology—an expanded and re-imagined edition of his first collection.
As a member of the Lichfield Poets, Ian is a familiar voice on the poetry scene, with two previous collections and numerous performances at festivals, open mics, and literary events. His work draws inspiration from books, music, film, and TV; each poem a lyrical reflection of the culture that surrounds us.
This new anthology is, in Ian’s words, his “director’s cut”—the book he would have published had he more pages and a few more poems at the time. Come and hear him read from this refreshed and deeply personal collection.
The evening will also feature guest readings by acclaimed poets Cherry Doyle and Chris Collins, promising a rich and varied night of live poetry.
